Hello!

I am thrilled to join the community as the new Garden Manager at Trinity Gardens. Growing up in Northern California I was fortunate that my parents instilled a love of the outdoors from a young age, decades later getting my hands in the dirt still brings out the same joy.

I studied Landscape Architecture and Forestry at UC Berkeley and returned to my hometown to start my own landscape education and design practice. In Sacramento I worked with a variety of organizations from educational farms, to school gardens, to teaching plant-based nutrition classes as local food banks. During that time I continued to follow my passions and earned certificates in Healthcare Garden Design and Advanced Permaculture Design.

I moved down to Santa Barbara last year to be closer to family, while I am relatively new to the climate zone; I have been visiting Santa Barbara for decades. I also work for UCSB as a Health Educator focusing on Food, Nutrition, and Basic Skills. When I am not at the garden, I can be found hiking, volunteering at film festivals, searching for the best breakfast burrito, and hanging with my two little nieces.
